9 Awesome Atlantic City Bachelor Party Ideas

May 3, 2025

Planning a bachelor party in Atlantic City? You’ve come to the right place.

I grew up around here, and now I run Jersey Devil Adventures, so I’ve seen more than my fair share of wild weekends, unforgettable nights, and next-level parties.

AC has everything you need to make the groom’s last hurrah something he’ll be talking about for years.

In this post, I’ll show you 9 great Atlantic City bachelor party ideas that’ll give the groom a proper sendoff AC-style

#1 Atlantic City Casino Bar Crawl

You can’t come to AC and not dive headfirst into a casino bar crawl. This is where it all starts. Forget planning a “first stop.” You’ll end up where the night takes you anyway.

Start at A’Dam Good Sports Bar & Grill in the Tropicana. This place is always loaded with TVs, cold beer, and a super chill vibe. You can ease into the night here, grab a bite, maybe a few shots to get warmed up.

From there, hit Boogie Nights, also in the Tropicana. Ones a retro-themed dance club, and both get wild. Boogie Nights goes full ‘70s and ‘80s - disco balls and bell bottoms.

If you’re looking for some fresh air, head over to Wonder Bar, Duck Town, or Tennessee Ave Beer Hall. They are not in casinos, but worth the walk (or Uber). Huge beer selections, cool outdoor vibes when the weather’s nice, and great pub grub.

Then wrap things up back at Tropicana at Anthem Lounge. One of the city’s only late night options. Good drinks, loud music, and a dance floor. Go to spot for locals, tourists, and bachelor parties alike.

You won't regret this bar crawl!

#2 Kayaking In The Pine Barrens

Now, this is where I come in. Take a little breather from all the partying and explore the Pine Barrens with us at Jersey Devil Adventures

We’re just a 30-minute drive out, and trust me - it’s worth it.

Imagine your crew floating down a remote river, surrounded by nature, but ending at Sweetwater Marina & Riverdeck. It’s the best ot both worlds!

Pack snacks and a cooler and make a whole day out of it. This one’s a memory-maker.

#3 Golf At Twisted Dunes Golf Course

Got some golf lovers in the group? Hit up Twisted Dunes Golf Course

This spot is solid. Just 25 minutes outside the city, and it’s BYOB - so load up that cooler with your favorite brews.

The course is challenging, but not in a frustrating way. It's got these huge, rolling dunes, and the layout is just different enough to keep everyone on their toes. Plus, there’s nothing like cracking open a cold one while trying (and probably failing) to sink that long putt.

Great way to relax, laugh, and soak in some sun before heading back to the AC madness.

#4 Party At HQ Beachclub And HQ Nightclub

If you’re going big, you have to hit up the HQ Dayclub at Ocean Casino.

It’s outdoors, it’s loud, it’s full of energy, and there’s always a DJ throwing down beats while people splash around and sip cocktails in their swimwear. Can’t party all day if you don’t start in the morning.

Pro tip: Get a cabana if you want to flex a little - it’s worth it.

Once the sun goes down, your next move is the night club upstairs.

This place is something else. It’s a massive two story venue, with a mezzanine overlooking the dance floor below. It’s always packed, the music’s loud, and the party goes deep into the night. Celebs show up from time to time, too.

Just pace yourselves since these places go hard.

#5 Westecunk Axe Throwing

If your group is full of guys who’ve still got that competitive edge (or just need to blow off some steam) then you have to add Axe throwing to your Atlantic City bachelor party ideas list.

It’s located right in the city, and it’s BYOB. This is a total blast and and great pre-game to the evening.

#6 Cigar Lounge

At some point during the weekend of your Atlantic City bachelor party, you’re gonna want a little downtime. That’s when you should head to a cigar lounge

It’s the ultimate “gentlemen’s hour” kind of vibe. You kick back in a leather chair, pour a whiskey or a scotch, and light up a cigar like you’re in an old mafia movie.

There are a few different spots in and around the casinos. Some are cozy and intimate, others feel like private clubs. All of them are solid for slowing things down and soaking in the moment.

You’ll talk about life, the wedding, maybe bet on something dumb... it’s just good guy time.

Also, nothing beats watching the groom try to act like he’s smoked cigars before.

#7 Deep Sea Fishing Excursion / Boat Charter

Want to get away from the crowds for a few hours?

Charter a deep sea fishing boat and hit the open ocean!

There are plenty of local captains who’ll take your group out early in the morning. They’ve got all the gear, bait, and know-how. You just show up and try to catch something massive.

You’ll head a few miles offshore, crack a few cold ones, and enjoy the salt air while you wait for that line to tug. Someone always catches something weird like a shark, a sea bass the size of your head, or even just a whole lot of seaweed.

It’s a slower-paced kind of party, but it’s still packed with laughs, great views, and a little bragging rights if you actually land a big one.

It's perfect for the more outdoorsy guys in the group.

#8 Beach Day

Don’t forget the beach. It’s right there!

Just five minutes away is Brigantine Jetty, one of the best local spots for a laid-back day in the sun. Call up Geiger’s Limo, load the boys into a ride, and cruise over with a cooler full of drinks, some snacks, and a speaker for tunes.

Once you’re there, it’s all about chilling. Toss the football around, nap in the sand, maybe wade in the water to cool off. It’s one of those “reset button” kind of days after a wild night out.

And if your group’s the more active type, bring a frisbee, spikeball, or even paddleboards.

Oh and just make sure someone remembers the sunscreen. We’ve seen groomsmen turn into lobsters out there, and that’s not a good look for the wedding photos.

#9 Hit The Draftkings Sportsbook At Resorts Casino

Got sports fans in the group? Then you can’t skip DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts Casino.

This place is basically a sports lover’s dream. Giant HD screens wall-to-wall, comfortable seating, and a bar with all the essentials - burgers, wings, beers, you name it.

Get the guys together, place a few bets (maybe something dumb, like who’ll win the coin toss), and watch the action unfold live. The energy here is awesome! People cheering, groaning, celebrating. It’s like being at the game without leaving your seat.

It’s also the perfect spot to kill a few hours before dinner or wind down in the afternoon while still keeping that party vibe alive.

Plus, if someone hits a big win? Drinks are on them.
